Review

We had an amazing 10 nights on the site in our own tent. The pitch was fantastic we backed on to a small wooded area providing plenty of space for our washing line and badminton net! The facilities were great (food in club house a bit pricey) so nice to let the children go off and explore of an evening knowing they would be safe. Excellent chip shop and little shop. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the site and presence of security team. We used the indoor pool which was, during our stay never busy. Thank you!

Caravan door had a paper seal on the door when we arrived to show no one had been inside since it had been cleaned. Surfaces, toilet/shower room, bedding, cooker/hob and flooring all clean on entry. The caravan was very well equipped with everything you could need, many electric plugs have usb points. There is a Blue sign in the information pack inside the caravan that has "I've arrived and checked in " on it that you need to hang in front window of your car for security staff to know you are a guest and allow you to enter/leave the park. Our caravan had central heating/double glazing, one night the temperature was below freezing outside and the heating worked very well. The heating kept a constant 18c but at the push of the "boost" button it would increase the temperature to 22c for 2 hours. The staff were all very polite and friendly, there is a decent fish and chip shop on site and the Sitting Duck restaurant that was serving food and drink outside for now. There is a small well stocked mini market, swimming pool, sports court, mini golf and hire shop but more facilities will be open when rules change. The whole site has very large trees all over it with lakes, grassed areas etc. Very picturesque site with small clusters of caravans not like some sites where there are rows and rows of vans on an open field. We heard owl's hooting on several nights, there were many ducks about, some with chicks, rabbits hopping about and squirrels racing around.
